Angel Gloria Obituary
Angel Gloria, a truck driver and resident of Mineola, Texas, passed on October 31, 2025, at the age of 58.
Angel is survived by her loving companion, Joseph David Gloria; children, Jennifer Rosie Woods, Justin Edward Thornburgh, Haileigh Thornburgh, Stephanie Michelle Thornburgh, Christopher James Thornburgh; sisters, Tammie Scott, Karen Scott, Lisa Stoffer; brothers, James Scott and wife Jean Scott, Bobby Scott and wife Betty Scott; and nine grandkids and one great-grandbaby. She is preceded in death by her parents, Garland and Gladys Scott; sons, Danny Steven Thornburgh and Steven Danny Thornburgh; and grandson, Damien Lewis Valentine.
Angel was born on August 15, 1967, in Tyler, Texas to Garland Edward Scott and Gladys Marie (Perkins) Scott. She was a truck driver who found her joy in meeting people where they were at. She put her family first, friends second, and herself last. No matter where you came from or what you’ve been through, you had a place at Angel’s. She was definitely a one-of-a-kind woman. She didn’t put up with extra drama. She was loved by many, feared by a few. She did things her way and you if you didn’t like it, she didn’t care. She would cuss you out, but she loved hard. Her love was fearless and STRONG! She wasn’t a wizard with words, but her actions didn’t allow us to doubt her love. Her journey home was brisk, but much desired, as heaven’s occupants have been counting down the days until her arrival.
Angel will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
