Altagracia, endearingly known as Mama Pilo, peacefully passed away surrounded with the same amount of love that she had given her entire life. Mama Pilo was a beacon of love and compassion, touching the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She held God at the core of her being, giving her the strength to rise from the deepest depths and come out stronger every single time. Despite everything she went through, her love and kindness never faltered. She embodied the true essence of maternal love, extending her nurturing care not only to her own family, but to all who crossed her path. Her love knew no bounds, as she welcomed all with open arms. Although she may not physically be here, her legacy will be carried on for generations to come. She is survived by her three children, seven grandkids, step children, grandchildren and a gigantic family that will miss her greatly. She was Mama Pilo to All.
Altagracia, entrañablemente conocida como Mama Pilo, falleció pacíficamente rodeada de la misma cantidad de amor que había dado toda su vida. Mama Pilo fue un faro de amor y compasión, tocando la vida de todos los que tuvieron la suerte de conocerla. Ella sostuvo a Dios en el centro de su ser, dándole la fuerza para levantarse de las profundidades más profundas y salir más fuerte cada vez. A pesar de todo lo que pasó, su amor y amabilidad nunca fallaron. Ella encarnaba la verdadera esencia del amor materno, extendiendo su cuidado no solo a su propia familia, sino a todos los que se cruzaron en su camino. Visitation will be held at Riverdale Funeral Home, 5044 Broadway, New York NY 10034, on Wednesday. May 8, 2024 from 4pm to 8pm.
Funeral Mass wil be at Saint Rose of Lima RC Church, 510 W 165th St, New York NY 10032 at 10am.
Interment will follow at Brick Church Cemetery, 221 Brick Church Rd, Spring Valley, NY 10977.
