Angela Kirby Obituary
Angela Michelle Kirby, beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at the age of 50. Born in Charlotte, NC, a cherished daughter of Carol Linker and the late Jeff Lambert. Angela is deeply mourned by her husband, Ronald “Ronnie” Kirby.
Angela was a radiant presence in the lives of all who knew her. She brought joy to her family with her bright smile and vibrant personality. As a dedicated nurse, Angela found fulfillment in helping others, a calling that earned her the Patients Choice Award during her first year at Chesterfield General Hospital. Her compassion extended beyond her careers, she was a wonderful mother and adored her grandchildren, always making time to lift spirits with her infectious laughter and joyful singing.
Angela leaves behind her husband, Ronald David “Ronnie” Kirby, as well as her sons, David (Megan) Kirby, Daniel (Dalen) Kirby, Dylan (Riley) Kirby, and Donovan Kirby. She is also survived by her daughter, Demi (Griffin) Lane, brother Dillon Blackmon, sisters, Amy Lambert, Brandi Lambert, Rachael Stride, 25 grandchildren, daughter-in-law Samantha Smith, and her lifelong best friend, Wendy Eldridge.
A memorial service to honor Angela's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Wallace Baptist Church, 4174 Highway 1, Wallace, SC 29596. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. just prior to the service at the church.
After the service the family invites all who would like to attend for a time of fellowship at David Kirby’s residence. For more information, attendees may contact the family via Facebook Messenger.
Angela's warmth and kindness will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to shine through the many lives she touched.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kiser Funeral Home, 1020, State Road, Cheraw, SC 29520, or on the funeral home website; or to Wallace Baptist Church, 4174 Highway 1, Wallace, SC 29596.
