Angela M. LaMirande

Angela Mae LaMirande, age 95, of St. Croix Falls, WI passed away October 26, 2025.
Angela was born to Elnora and Elmer Arneson on May 2, 1930, in their home at Wagon Landing; the first grandchild of Andrew and Gina Swanson.
Angela was raised in Wagon Landing, a small farm community named for the wagon roads used to transport logs and other goods where she grew up with her brother Donavon and many friends.
She attended Wagon Landing schoolhouse in her early years of education and graduated from Amery High School in 1948.
On September 13, 1952, she married Joseph LaMirande Jr. and enjoyed 54 years together while raising their children.
Angela was a homemaker as well as Joseph's behind the scenes partner in his business undertakings. Angela will be remembered for her perseverance, kindness, faith, and unconditional love.
Angela is survived by her children, Bruce (Lisa), Brian, Diane (Steve) Martell, Denise (Steve) Clark, and Gary; grandchildren, Becky (Luke) Windsor, Michael (Amy) LaMirande, Nicole (Chad) Kromrey, Jessica (Cody) Rickard, Matthew LaMirande, Trevor LaMirande, Joseph Clark, Julia Clark; great-grandchildren, Kaylynn Kurtz, Ava Pack, Joseph Kromrey, Jocelyn Kromrey, Jasmine Kromrey (arriving any day), Piper Windsor, Rylie Windsor, Jack Rickard, August Rickard; sister-in-law, Janice Hansen; brother-in-law, Roger LaMirande, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph in 2006; son, David John LaMirande; brother, Donavon Arneson; grandchild, Sara Lynn LaMirande; great-grandchild, Raegan Windsor; brothers-sisters-in-law, Ione (Clarence) Belisle, Gloria (Wilbur) Ostendorf, Elaine (Curtiss) Anderson, Sally LaMirande and Trudy LaMirande.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers to local food shelves and Interfaith Caregivers of Polk County.
