Angela Dawn Totty, born on July 30, 1975, in Polk, Florida, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025, in Asheville, North Carolina, at the age of 50. Angela's journey was marked by her remarkable strength, unwavering courage, and boundless kindness, which touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Angela was a devoted mother who adored her children, Lee Taylor, Breanna Taylor, Ciera Richeter, and Shelby Branhan. Her love for them was evident in every aspect of her life, and she consistently demonstrated her dedication through her actions and words. She leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience that will continue to inspire her children as they carry her spirit forward.
With a passion for creativity, Angela loved doing nails, finding joy in the art and beauty she could create. Her vibrant personality and warm heart made her a beloved friend and confidante to many. Angela's kindness knew no bounds; she had a way of making everyone feel valued and cherished.
Angela was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Maggie Lillian Dutton, and her grandparents, Arnold and Connie Dutton her brother in law, Travis Phillips She is survived by her fiancé, Stephen Wayne Branhan, who shared in her dreams and joys, her children, Lee Taylor, Breanna Taylor, Ciera Richeter, and Shelby Branhan and her siblings, Crystal Metcalf, Tonya Totty, and Jimmy Elkins. She also leaves behind a numerous amount of nieces, nephews, and extended family, all of whom will miss her dearly.
A Celebration of Angela's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and share stories of the joy she brought into their lives.
