Angela M. Sgambati

Angela M. (Tronolone) Sgambati, 87, of Wallingford, died Saturday, March 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of the late Robert Sgambati of 57 years.
Angela was born in Brooklyn, NY, November 13, 1937, a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Figlioulo) Tronolone. She was employed by Gaylord Hospital for 27 years. She loved being with her family and traveling, especially to her favorite destination, Aruba. She loved everyone she knew and was the most caring and generous woman.
Angela is survived by her children, Stephen A. Sgambati, Michael R. Sgambati, and Patricia A. Sgambati; her daughter-in-law, Josephine Sgambati; her grandchildren, Skye-Marie Sgambati, Stephen Sgambati Jr. (Sabrina), Sheyenne Riotte (Tyler), Santino Sgambati (Cynthia), Antonio Sgambati and Nico Sgambati; her great granddaughter, Angelina Sgambati; her brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Pat Tronolone; several nieces and nephews; and her caregiver Vera, who was very special to her. She was predeceased by her twin sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Robert Doria.
Her family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, March 13th, from 5 to 7 pm at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 am directly at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 382 Hope Hill Rd., Yalesville. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery.
