Anggi Stephen, age 56, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, at Hillcrest Nursing Home in McCook, Nebraska.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October, 4, 2025, at Willow Christian Church in Indianola, Nebraska, Pastor Heath Kelley officiating. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.

Memorials in Anggi's memory are suggested to the Willow Christian Church in Indianola.

Angela Marie Brown was born May 13, 1969, in North Platte, Nebraska. She was raised in the McCook area, attending District 31 Elementary School and St. Patrick's School. She also attended McCook High School and graduated with the Class of 1987.

In 1988 Anggi married Robert Norris and to this union two children were born, Bobby and Kassi. In 1995 her son, Roger was added to the family. In 2000 Anggi married Brad Stephen, gaining three more children, Jake, Danni and Wyatt. The family made their home in Indianola.

Anggi brought her strong work ethic to various businesses in Indianola throughout her life. She was a dedicated and loyal employee, taking pride in her work. Anggi's hobbies included drawing and singing. Her two passions in this life were her grandchildren and fishing.

Anggi was baptized at the Indianola Christian Church by Pastor Mike Searcey and enjoyed her long-time membership there.

Anggi was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Marie Hummel and Bob and Phillis Brown; stepfather, Ron Scott and brother-in-law, Steve Ladner.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Brad Stephen of Indianola; children: Bobby Brown, of California, Kassi (Jason) Cain of Oklahoma, Roger McGraw of Bartley, Jake Stephen and Wyatt Stephen of Wyoming and Danni (Marcus) Hauxwell of Indianola; eight grandchildren: Isaac and Aurora Cain, Shaylee and MaKayla Brown, Declan, Harlan and Isaac and Mariah Hauxwell; parents, Rozanne (Jerry) Walters of Bartley and Joe (Janet) Brown of Hays, Kansas; siblings: Mike Brown of Indianola and Barb (Rick) Hoffmann of Indianola; sister-in-law, Reesa (Bill) Bebb of Kearney; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
