Angela Dawn Thomas

Angela Dawn Thomas, age 46, of Arapahoe, Nebraska passed away Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Great Plains Hospital, North Platte, Nebraska. She was born April 24, 1979 in Lexington, Nebraska to Gerald & Cindy (Gates) Thomas.

She attended Arapahoe High School with the class of 1997.

Angela was a huge sports fan. She enjoyed college football, volleyball, NFL football, baseball, and NASCAR. Her favorite teams were the Huskers, Green Bay Packers, Kansas City Chiefs, and Kansas City Royals. Her favorite NASCAR drivers were Jeff Gordon and Chase Elliott. She enjoyed watching Jeopardy and was very good at playing the game. Angela had a great sense of humor with a witty personality. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Arapahoe, Nebraska.

She is preceded in death by her father, Gerald Thomas. She is survived by her mother Cindy and husband Glenn Sprecher of Arapahoe, Nebraska, brother Andy, his wife Andie and children Blake and Asher of Hastings, Nebraska, brother Jamie, his wife Sara and children Dean, Vanessa, and Aiden of Omaha, Nebraska and uncles and aunts Terry Rehder, DeDe and Don Schroder, Trish Day and Tom Harrold, Shelley and Mark O’Dowd, Pat Gates and Jane Ellis, several cousins.
