Angelina Harrison Jones, born on May 20, 1972, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025. A devoted homemaker and a loving matriarch, Angelina dedicated her life to her family, cherishing every moment spent with her grandchildren. Her spirit was vibrant, illuminated by her love for family gatherings and her deep connections within her community.
Angelina was a long-time member of the Hopewell Church of God and Prophecy, where her faith flourished alongside her friendships. Her passion for life shone through in her love for the beach, particularly during her enjoyable women’s retreat trips with the church group. She found joy in simple pleasures, like shopping and cheering for Alabama Football while surrounded by family and friends. She enjoyed the companionship of her beloved dogs, Trixie, Tito, and Lexie.
Her family remembers her as the heart of their home, always ready to support and nurture those around her. Angelina is survived by her husband of 35 years, Ty Jones; her sons, Zachary Jones (Shelia) and Blake Jones; her daughters, Melissa Busby (Joshua), Meghan Wyres, and Amanda Jones; and her cherished grandchildren, Timothy Jones, Brodie Cain, Kensley Jones, Paige Busby, Autumn Busby, and Hannah Cain. She is also survived by her sister, Connie Harrison, and her brother, Ezzie Harrison, Jr. (Lisa), along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends who were touched by her kindness and generosity.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ezzie Sr. and Elsie Girdler Harrison; her brother, Robert Harrison; her sisters, Tina Jones and Tammy Harrison; and her granddaughter, Annaleigha Grace Cain. Angelina's legacy will endure in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her, and she will be profoundly missed.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home in Pleasant Grove, Alabama, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring her remarkable life.
