Angeline Fritz, 101, passed away on December 28, 2024, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. She was the daughter of the late John and Martha (Kovacic) Jakovec. Born on July 31, 1923. Angie attended Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic School and Central High School. She continued her studies at St. Agnes School of Nursing, Fond du Lac, graduating in 1945. Angie spent most of her nursing career as an operating room nurse.
In 1948 she was united in marriage to Siegfried Fritz in Chicago. In 1972, the couple returned to Sheboygan. Her husband preceded her in death in 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Stanley and a sister, Vickie Sullivan. Angie is survived by her cousin Carol Aurella; pseudo daughter Christine Jeske; special friends, Pat Weber, Dana Borland, Robin Meyer and Monica Froh.
Angie was a member of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, SWUA, SNPJ, CWCC and Legion of Mary. After retiring from 40 years of nursing, Angie was active for many years in various volunteer services.
Per Angie’s wishes, no visitation will take place, she will be privately buried in the family plot at Greendale Cemetery. A Mass will be offered for her intention on the first possible Sunday.
