Angeline Traini Obituary
Angie was a talented switchboard operator for Bell Telephone from 1953 to 1961. She then dedicated herself as a secretary for the Emergency Room Doctors at Frederick Memorial Hospital from 1981 to 1998. Her dedication and professionalism were greatly appreciated by her colleagues and patients alike.
Outside of her professional life, Angie had a deep love for her family, her faith, and the simple joys of life. She found solace in her flower garden, where she would spend countless hours tending to her beloved plants. Angie also had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. Her creativity knew no bounds, and she expressed it through painting on canvas.
Angie's faith played an important role in her life, and she worshipped at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Libertytown, MD.
In her free time, Angie was an active member of the Sweet Adelines and the church choir. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, and meeting her friends at Curves. Angie's warm and inviting nature made her the perfect host for extended family get-togethers, where she created cherished memories with her loved ones.
Angie will be dearly missed by her children, Lou Anne (Dean) Reuter, Anthony (Christine) Traini, David (Stan Sack) Traini, and Heidi (Brian) Morgan. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Angie was preceded in death by her husband, Louis C. Traini, her mother, Lillian (nee Camodecca) DiNicco, and her father, Angelo DiNicco.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023, from 6 to 8 PM at Stauffer Funeral Home, located at 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702. Church services will take place at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 9190 Church St. in Libertytown, MD. Lunch will follow after mass in St. Peter's Parish Hall. Burial will take place on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Angie's memory to St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, located at 9190 Church Street, Libertytown, MD 21791.
Angie's love, laughter, and gentle nature will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.

One of my favorite neighborhood Moms! Growing up in Walkersville I was lucky enough to always be greeted by her kind smile. Everyone was welcome at Mrs Traini´s even me I will always have wonderful memories of such a special lady

Angie was my dear friend since 1974. We were neighbors as young mothers and spent fun weekends at the Traini "cabin" annually for many years. My own children weren´t fortunate to have aunts and uncles nearby and Angie and Lou filled that role a bit. Angie saw the positive in all things and was quick to laugh and slow to be offended. She loved beauty and nature, birds and flowers. She expressed this love in her beautiful oil paintings. I have a few of her pasta recipes and will savor these dishes in her memory. And I will smile, thinking about how many times we talked about loving the return of the fireflies each summer, and the simple pleasures of life. I will miss her so much.
