Angelita P Alcorta

Angelita P. Alcorta, age 74, passed away peacefully with her family by her side in San Antonio, Texas, on November 7, 2025. Born on March 7, 1951, in Lamesa, Texas, Angelita was the cherished daughter of Feliciano Peralta Sr. and Feliciana Martinez Peralta.

Angelita will be fondly remembered for her joyful spirit and vibrant presence. She found immense happiness in dancing, and her love for music and celebration was infectious to all who knew her. Angelita also enjoyed painting and crafting. She delighted in playing pool, fishing, and especially in cooking delicious meals for her family, bringing everyone together with her warmth and generosity.

Angelita is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Feliciano and Feliciana. She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Alcorta Sr., and her loving children: Melinda Kay Silva (Frank Gutierrez), Robert Alcorta Jr. (Sylvia), Joe Alcorta (Erica), and Oscar Alcorta (Rosemary). Angelita leaves behind nine grandchildren-Robby Alcorta, Adam Alcorta, April Alcorta, Oscar Alcorta Jr., Isaac Alcorta, Joseph Alcorta, April Marie Silva, and Luis Martinez-and three great-grandchildren: Anakin, Blakie, and Bristol. Her family was her pride and joy, and her love will live on in their hearts.

Angelita's compassionate spirit also extended to her cherished fur babies, Chinook and Trixie, who brought her comfort and companionship.

Angelita's legacy is one of love, laughter, and togetherness. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 3PM-8PM at Vinyard Funeral Home. A Holy Rosary will be recited that evening at 7PM, with services concluding after the rosary.
