Mr. Cataldi influenced many young lives and I remember when he used to run the Summer playgrounds in Delaware City in the 1960's. He was a great man that cared about us kids. I'm 65 yrs. old and I remember all the good times that we had those summers. He will be sadly missed. May God Bless the Cataldi family during this time.

Mr. Cataldi was a great man, who knew how to relate to the students... he expected us to be the best we could be, and was always willing to to help his "boys and girls" succeed... He was one of my favorite educators... I missed him when he left McKean to go to Claymont, but he came back to speak at our Commencement ceremonies (73)... His name always comes up when a group of Highlanders gets together and we talk about "the old days".... he was loved and respected by all, and brings smiles to our faces when we reminisce about those days... even his "board of Education"!! Rest in Peace, Mr. Cataldi... Carol Ewing Fretz - McKean '73

A gentle giant is gone. May he rest in peace. My father taught with Angie, and thought the world of him. When my mother died, Angie brought tons of food to our house - an act of kindness I will never forget.

A great man who I looked up to when I was a student at Claymont Middle School (1972-1974). I admired him for his fairness and high standards. Thank you Dr. Cataldi, you inspired me to achieve.

Uncle Angie, you will be greatly missed. You were an incredible person and a great influence to all around you. Always a positive outlook, no matter what. My grandfather, Dennis, spoke about you all of the time. Now you two can play some golf and cards again.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. Mr. Cataldi was a positive influence in my life as a Gym Teacher and later an assistant principal. To this day I can still remember Angie correcting me for talking in gym class and his not so subtle methods of correction, I dare say schools today could learn a thing or two about applied correction from him. He not only would correct my misbehavior but would run to my side if I was having a problem. Angelo Cataldi please rest peacefully in our Dear Lords Loving Embrace
