Aniceto Joseph Ledda

Aniceto Joseph Ledda passed away December 25th, 2023 in his home surrounded by family. His smile and his crazy stories as a youth, are going to be greatly missed.
Joe was born to Adela Montanio and Aniceto Enrico Ledda, June 16th 1947 in Caldwell Idaho. Joe Grew up in Wilder and spent many of his younger years traveling the states with his father, working farms picking vegetables, and/or apples. Most of those summers you would find Joe, his brother Danny and their father in the Owyhees, fishing and cooking up their catch, which was usually Crappie.
Joe eventually settled down in Caldwell, where he married the love of his life, Judy Foster in 1975. They loved taking their kids camping, riding 4Wheelers and spending time with family and friends.
Joe found his calling as a Journeyman Welder and enjoyed mentoring coworkers on his craft. He spent the last 20 years working for Scales Unlimited, where he made many life long friends.
Joe loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his son, Daniel Ledda, daughter Rodonna Julian, son Kelly Julian, daughter Kim (Ledda) Holton, and 4 grandchildren, Izaac, Macen, Brock and Brianna.
A memorial service for Joe will be held at 11:00 A.M., January 20th, 2024 at Dakan Funeral Chapel. Following his service, a celebration of his life will be at the Homedale Basque Center. Food will be provided. As you all know, dad loved the food of his Philippino heritage, so please, if it's in your heart to, we encourage you to bring your own special dish.
