Anissia Anne Simpson, 56, of Louisville, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025.
Anissia was born in Hickory, North Carolina to the late Grady Franklin and Shelia Craig and worked for the Kentucky State Reformatory as a licensed practical nurse. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking for her family and friends, and taking care of her two fur babies.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Carrying on Anissia's legacy are her daughters, Haley Craig (Gerald Smith) and Savannah Simpson (Mack Mason); step-son, Michael Simpson and his family; former husband, Frank Simpson, Jr.; and her fur children, Sagwa and Callie.
Visitation for Anissia will be from 1-3PM on Friday, November 14 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 10600 Taylorsville Road. Burial will follow at Simpson Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
