Anita Dixon-Brown was both a passionate and compassionate person dedicated to furthering the arts in Kansas City and beyond. She will be missed.

The image shared depicts Anita making the initial contribution from Creative Cities, KC for the successful Pianos for Uganda initiative led by Father Thomas Sserwadda in 2024-2025. The Missouri Alliance for Arts Education was proud to partner with Creative Cities, KC on the initiative, and will profoundly miss Anita's vision, leadership and friendship.

Anita was a force for good. She was the perfect partner for her husband, Len, who was lucky to find such an amazing partner later in life
