Anita Harris Obituary
Anita J. Harris, 64, of Reynoldsville PA, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025. She was born in Greensburg PA on October 11, 1961 a daughter of Lida Mae (Curry) Evans who survives and resides in Belle Vernon PA and the late Clyde Evans.
Anita was a retired Highway Inspector for PennDOT, where she ensured the safety and maintenance of the roads we take every day. She was known for her incredible generosity and selflessness, always putting others first. She was a caring daughter, sister, mother and grandmother, and she enjoyed attending her grandkids sporting events. She loved history, Margaritas, the ocean and going to the beach.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Jacob M. (Melissa) Harris, of Derry; daughters, Sarah M. (Michael) Heffner of Irvona PA, Samantha L. Harris of Reynoldsville and Jenna M. (Jay) Gafford of Du Bois; her grandchildren who brought her so much joy, Jacob Harris, Briana Harris, Lyza Hyde, Parker Heffner, Easton Heffner, Jameson Gafford, Emerson Gafford, and Benson Gafford; and her brothers, Daniel Evans of Belle Vernon and Clyde Evans of Donora.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick M. Harris in 2023.
Private visitation and Funeral Services will be held in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) http://www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com Interment will be in Salem Church Cemetery.
