Anita Lanute Obituary
Anita Carol Lanute, nee Mesick, age 63, of Bolingbrook, IL passed away April 15, 2023, after a short illness.
Anita was born in Hazel Crest, IL to the late Louis Mesick and Sandra Marsic, nee Stroheker. She graduated from Lyons Township High School in 1977. Since graduation she held a variety of positions in the medical field. For the past 15 years she was the Vice President of Administration at ARC Physical Therapy.
Anita was an avid Bears fan, loved entertaining, motorcycle trips, and the sky.
She is survived by her partner, Rich Lemke; her daughters, Courtney Lanute and Candace Schaitel; her brothers, Kerry (Karen) Mesick, Scott Mesick, Brent (Angie) Mesick, and Glenn (Dory) Mesick; and her sister Donna Carter (Rick Jones). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and her dog, Eva. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Louis Mesick.
Cremation Rites have been accorded and a celebration of her life will be held at a future date.

Anita was a great sister in law and I loved her very much, she was always very respectful of both my husband and me. Her daughters are very sweet girls and we had the priveledge of having them over for dinner two years ago. I will miss Anita very much! Len and Vicki

My office was at 150 S Wacker and I worked with Anita as ARC is a tenant there. She was a lovely person and a delight to work with, even briefly. I hadn't seen her in many years but I remember her fondly all these years later. May she rest in peace and my condolences to her family.

While I did not know Anita personally, I've received PT at ARC on and off over about 6 years and have referred several friends and relatives to the clinic in Elmhurst. Everyone I've referred has been so thrilled with the care they've received and the skill of the therapists we see. Administrators don't have face-to-face time with patients but Anita must have had a positive influence behind the scenes to be sure the ARC clinic in Elmhurst has such a fine reputation in our community. Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of Anita.
