Mrs. Anita “Carol” Martin, age 70 of Boaz, Alabama, died peacefully on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at her residence.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 5:00pm -7:00pm at McRae Funeral Home.
Mrs. Martin was born in Alabama on August 10, 1954, to Albert D. & Betty Sue Ward and was a long-time resident of Boaz. Carol Loved Volunteering in her community, Sewing, reading, helping take care of her uncle Herbert, and most of all her cats: Bandit, Charlie and Axel whom she dearly loved.
Mrs. Martin is survived by Daughters & Sons-in-Law: Cathy & Ron Ritz of Tennessee, Brenda Moore of Indiana, Angela & Steve Giagiakos of Florida. Son: Archie Rex Shelton III of Indiana. 11 Grandchildren. 8 Great Grandchildren.
Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her Parents: Albert D. & Betty Sue Ward. Husband: Larry Martin. 2 Sisters & 1 Brother.
