Anita L. Meadows, 65, of Valley Station and Taylorsville, Kentucky, left this world on December 31, 2025. She was a devoted mother and mammie who cherished her grandchildren dearly and dedicated her life to their happiness. Anita had an incredible capacity for kindness and generosity, always going out of her way to help those in need. Her warmth and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Born on March 18, 1960, in Hazard, Kentucky, Anita was the beloved daughter of Hubert and Audrey (Oney) Meadows. She is preceded in death by her father, Hubert, and mother, Audrey.
Anita is lovingly remembered by her children, Priscilla L. (John) Blevins and Nicholas Fultz, Sr., as well as her grandchildren: Austin Stephens, Alexas Dunn, Carmen Worth, Trinity Grace Fultz, Nicholas Fultz, Jr., Jordan Dunn, Meadow Blevins, and Willow Blevins. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and her lifelong friend, Dennis Sternberg, alongside a cherished circle of family and friends who will hold her memory dear.
A memorial visitation in honor of Anita will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, located at 10304 Dixie Hwy.
