ANITA ULIBARRI Obituary

ANITA MARIE ULIBARRI
Anita Marie Ulibarri 47 was born on October 20, 1978, and passed on November 18, 2025. She was preceded in death by her mother Eileen Lopez on December 19, 1997, and will be buried on the same date.
She is survived by her father David Ulibarri. Her oldest son Dylan Chavez (fiancé Ariana) and her little granddaughter Payton Eileen. Her younger son Jaycob Cervantes and his father George. Her only niece Erica Montano with whom she had a close bond. Her great-nephews and great-niece, Kolton, Carson, Crew and Lacie. Her sister Kimberly Ann Ulibarri and brother-in-law Ronald Bransford.
Anita was never fond of attention, so we are sending her with a simple rosary and funeral mass to be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1301 Osage Ave, Santa Fe, NM 87505 on Friday, December 19th. Rosary will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. and interment at 1:00 p.m.at Rosario Cemetery.
Anita loved without measure all the little children in her life and was happiest when they were all together. She always reminded us of their uniqueness, beauty and talents in late night and early morning texts. She loved them and they loved her - their mom, grandma and auntie. She is deeply missed by her family. Please keep Anita and her family in your prayers.

My heart is truly broken. Anita was my very first best friend, beginning in first grade. When I had chicken pox and missed the end-of-year carnival, she made sure I didn´t miss out. Anita came to my house and gave me every single goodie she had won for me. From that moment on, we were friends for life.

We shared slumber parties, birthdays, and Girl Scouts, and later in life, we were blessed to watch our boys go to school together. I will forever cherish our chance catch-ups, our annual birthday messages, and the laughter we shared for more than 40 years.

You will always be in my heart, Anita. May perpetual light shine upon you, and may God watch over all who love you during this difficult time.
