Ann Ashenhurst, 83, of Nashua, wife of Ray R. Ashenhurst, passed away early Sunday morning, November 23, 2025 at Nashua Crossings, after a period of declining health.

A resident of Nashua for the past 53 years, Mrs. Ashenhurst was born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on August 30, 1942, a daughter of the late Phyllis (Martineau) and Charles Raymond Mallen.

Ann was a graduate of Portsmouth High School Class of 1960 and furthered her education at Sacred Heart Hospital School of Nursing in Manchester. She later earned an associate's degree from the former McIntosh College in Dover.

In addition to raising her family, Ann worked as a medical records librarian at Portsmouth Hospital and York Hospital in York, Maine.

She was a volunteer for special needs children at the Bicentennial Elementary School in Nashua for a number of years. Ann loved spending time with her granddaughter, Megan; and enjoyed baking and gardening in her leisure time.

Members of her family include her husband, Ray, whom she married on July 16, 1966 and shared 59 years together; her four children, Kristin Sweeney and her husband Jim, Karla Ashenhurst, Kevin Ashenhurst and John Ashenhurst; and her granddaughter, Megan Sweeney.

There are no calling hours. A Graveside service will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Portsmouth, NH (Date & Time to be announced).
