Ann P. Bailey, age 83, of Forest City, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
Ann was born Monday, May 11, 1942 in Waverly, New York to the late Floyd Eugene Pierce and Alice Harper Pierce. She worked as an Accounting Clerk for the Brevard County Florida Tax office for twenty-two years before retirement and was a longtime member of the Eastern Star Orange Chapter in Apopka, Florida. Ann was a dedicated homemaker who loved crocheting. She made sure that every family had received a personally treasured crocheted blanket. She also was an avid flower and vegetable gardener and enjoyed baking for her family, especially for the holidays and special occasions. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Pierce.
Survivors include her husband of sixty-seven years, Robert “Bob” Bailey; daughters, Vicky Turner (Mike) of Cocoa, Florida, Robin Bailey of Forest City and Debbie Bright of Forest City; siblings, Jerry Pierce (Lindy) of New York, Fred Pierce (Jenny) of Texas, Tom Pierce of Texas, Bill Pierce (Patty) of Florida, Theresa Behe (Jim) of Florida and Jan Maggard of Texas; grandchildren, Heather Lawrence, Shawn Turner (Altaire), Jason McDaniel (Anna), Melissa Bull and Lucas Bright; great-great grandchildren, Brody, Audree, Jayson, Bayleigh, Silas, Elise, Pierce, Garrett, Auston, Makenzie and Daniel.
No formal services will be conducted.
