Ann Bausch

Mass of Christian Burial for Ann Bausch age 81 of Beemer, NE will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Beemer, NE with interment in the Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m., at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Beemer, and will continue on Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the church. Minnick Funeral Home in West Point is assisting the family with arrangement. The family suggests that memorials be directed to the Beemer Senior Center. Ann passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at the Colonial Haven Nursing Home in Beemer, NE.
Annette "Ann" Bausch was born on September 1, 1943 at rural Seneca, KS to Alfred and Loretta (Hermesch) Koch, the second of seven children. She graduated from Dawson-Verdon High School in 1961, the first year they consolidated. Ann worked as a medical secretary in Lincoln until she married Larry Bausch on May 31, 1969 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Dawson, NE, to this union, three children were born.
When the youngest started school, she became director of the Beemer Housing Authority, which she managed for 25 years.
The family spent 15 summers going to Big Sandy Lodge in the wilderness of Wyoming helping Larry's sister and husband with the lodge, and had many unique experiences.
She belonged to the Holy Cross Catholic Church, where she volunteered as Eucharistic Minister, CCD teacher, and numerous other capacities.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, brother-Robert and Judy Koch, sisters-in-law-Carol Koch and Sharon Koch, and her brother-in-law-Joe Heim.
