Ann Charlene Myers-Baxter passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2025 in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 79.
Ann was born November 16, 1946 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Lloyd Melvin Myers and Dorothy Marie (Sullivan) Myers. Ann attended Wewoka High School. She married James Baxter in Holdenville First Christian Church on September 11, 1998. Ann was a legal secretary for the Steven Parker Law Office. She enjoyed flower gardening, her dogs, movies, her work and her computer. Ann loved spending time with her family. She treasured her family trips to Branson. Ann loved pretty things, blingy bling and beautiful roses. She was very proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ann was known for her radiant smile even through her difficult times.
Ann is preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Dorothy Myers and sibling Dennis Myers. She is survived by her husband James Baxter of the home, children; Heather Loving of Ardmore, James R. Baxter II and wife Tawnya of Edmond, Shae Briggs and husband Tommy of Edmond, brother Mickey Myers and wife Kathy of Meeker, sister-in-law Mary Jo Myers of Wewoka, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ann is survived by many other relatives and friends.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Holdenville Cemetery with Pastor Mack Peercy officiating.
Services are under the direction of Hudson Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville, Oklahoma.
