Ann Marie Cobb, 97, passed away peacefully on Thursday July 31, 2025. Born to Paul and Nellie Traub, Ann was a lifelong resident of Binghamton, NY. After graduating from Binghamton Central High School, she married John C. Cobb, Jr. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Ann was predeceased by her husband, John, her daughter, Linda, son, Timothy, her grandsons John Cobb IV and Steven Rexroth. Ann is survived by children John (Cheryl) Cobb, (Charlotte, NC.) Denise Landis (Clearwater, FL.) and Melissa (Ron) Rexroth (Haworth, NJ.) She is survived by grandchildren Jacqueline Ortiz, Nicklaus Cobb, John Paul LeBrun, Christian LeBrun, Ryan LeBrun, Justin LeBrun, Brandon Cobb, Samantha Dugan, Sean Rexroth, Jack Rexroth and Neil Rexroth. Ann is also survived by many great grandchildren.

After her children were grown, Ann worked as a secretary at West Presbyterian Church, Binghamton, NY. She devoted her life to serving others, first her family, and then many volunteer groups. She was a long-time member of West Presbyterian Church and later the United Presbyterian Church of Binghamton. She served on numerous committees and was a dedicated volunteer of the Sewing Group for more than fifty years, making quilts and other hand-sewn items. For more than 30 years, Ann volunteered at Good Shepherd Fairview Home. She served as Director of the Auxiliary and continued as a volunteer well into her nineties. Through her warmth, kindness and optimistic spirit, she touched many lives and she will be greatly missed.

A memorial service for Ann will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 11am at the United Presbyterian Church, 42 Chenango St., Binghamton NY. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the United Presbyterian Church of Binghamton, 42 Chenango St, Binghamton NY, 13901 or Mercy House, 212 McKinley Ave., Endicott NY, 13760.
