Ann Corbin

WILMINGTON- Ann M. Corbin - August 24,1932 - May 20, 2022, 89 years young, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Best known as the warm and friendly office manager for Drs. Herman and Sandy Katims Optometry practice on Main Street, Ann was a lifelong Port Washington, NY resident until 2005 when she relocated to North Carolina where she could be closer to sunshine, warmth, and the ocean. She was preceded in death by her parents, Florence and Albert Rubinich and her brothers, Charles and Albert, Jr. She is survived by her daughters Kim Corbin-Lewis (David) of Logan, Utah, Cheryl Corbin of Rocky Point, NC, and grandchildren Christopher Burke, Danica Lewis, and Alexandra Lewis. Known for her smile and wicked sense of humor she leaves a hole in our hearts. She will be greatly missed by her wide circle of friends. A private family service will be held at a later date.
