Our beloved mother Ann Yokoi Cruz, entered into the kingdom of God on October 3rd, 2024. She was born on October 26, 1939 to Gertrudes Yokoi Flores.
Ann was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother and is survived by her husband Jose; daughter Lorraine; sons, Joseph and Vincent; daughter in-laws, Lilliane and Jessa; granddaughters, Jordan and Natalie; and grandsons, Nathaniel, Jared, and Sidy.
Upon graduating valedictorian from high school, Ann attended the University of Guam before marrying the love of her life Jose and faithfully stood by his side as a military wife raising 3 children.
Among her many obligations of being a military wife she was a loyal worker for Bank of America working her way up to Branch Operations officer for 25 years.
Ann was a loving mother and devoted herself to the people she loved. She had a big heart that overshadowed her relatively small stature. She was a selfless woman whose passing left an unfillable gap in the hearts of her loved ones. Her ability to sacrifice, provide, support, forgive, and love will be forever ingrained in all she knew.
A memorial service will take place at 9:30am, October 23rd at St. Peters Church 105 S 2nd St, Dixon, CA 95620 followed by burial ceremony at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery 5810 Midway Rd, Dixon, CA 95620.
