Obituary of Ann DaCunto

Ann Madeline DaCunto, 99, of Brigantine formerly of Freehold, NJ passed away at home with her family at her side. Ann was born in Bronx NY to the late Ignazio "Nick" and Rose (Perino) Mazzurco.

Ann formerly worked for a brokerage firm on Wall Street and she was a waitress/shift supervisor at Friendly's Restaurant in Manalapan for over 30 years. She kept a beautiful home for her family. Ann enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, cooking and playing slots at the Borgata.

Ann was the beloved wife of the late Epimaco "Chic" DaCunto and she is survived by her children Karen Arilotta (Paul), Linda Hurtt (Steve), Dan DaConti (Krissy) and Nick DaCunto (Kristine). She is also survived by her grandchildren Michele (Rick), Nicole (Scott) Damien (Brittany) Christian, Dan (Rachel), Ally (Ryan), Amber (Rich), Nicholas, Dan (Kerry) her great-grandchildren Jason, Andrew, Jessie, Melissa, Zach, Gabe, Anthem, Josiah, Rosie, Ace, Daniel and Jaxon and her brother Salvatore "Sonny" Mazzurco.

In addition to her parents Ann is predeceased by her sisters Catherine "Kitty" Carmosino, Frances Romano, and great-granddaughter Heaven.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing for Ann on Monday December 8, 2025 from 6-8 PM at Keates-Plum Funeral Home, 3112 West Brigantine Ave. Brigantine.

A second viewing will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a funeral service to begin at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, 299 Freehold-Englishtown Road, Freehold. The family kindly requests in lieu of flowers please send donations to Tunnel to Towers Foundation at T2T.org or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
