Ann Catherine Gregel

ANN CATHERINE GREGEL, 57, of Bainbridge Township, Ohio, passed away on June 20, 2025 at Ahuja Medical Center. Ann was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania on December 21, 1967. She is a graduate of Nordonia Highschool and graduated from the Kent State School of Nursing with a BSN in 1994. Ann worked as a Registered Nurse for the Cleveland V.A. Hospital for 18 years. A job she loved.
Ann enjoyed the outdoors. She spent a lot of her younger days hiking and camping all across the country. She enjoyed deer hunting and raising chickens, ducks and turkeys on her property in Bainbridge Twp.. At home Ann loved to cook, play with her 5 dogs and watch sunsets from the back patio.
Ann is survived by her husband of 33 years, John Gregel and also her mother Joan Johnson and her three brothers Regis Johnson Jr., Ronald Johnson, and Robert (Robbie) Johnson.
Through her Job at the V.A. Hospital, Ann cared for the United States Veterans. She compassionately helped countless people through rough times, cared for the sick and injured and was a bright light in their dark times. Ann will be missed dearly by all the people who knew her.
A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Ann's life will be held at a later date.
