Obituary of Ann Shirley Hartzell
Ann Shirley Hartzell
Ann Shirley (Organista) Hartzell, 88, of Plymouth Meeting, PA passed away.
She was born in Norristown, Pa on April 27, 1937, the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Pauline (Brodowski) Organista.
Ann has lived in Plymouth Meeting for over 20 years, formerly of Conshohocken, Pa.
She has been a member of Plymouth Meeting Evangelical Congregation Church, where she sang in the choir, and she was a former member of West Conshohocken Primitive Methodist Church.
Shirley worked at Bell Telephone, and then as an Instructional Aid with Hervey S. Walker Elementary School.
She was the wife of Late - Oliver R. Hartzell.
Survivors include, Daughter Joanne (Tom) Kopsie of Plymouth Meeting, Pa, Daughter Cheryl (Mark) Herley of West Norriton, Pa, also survived by her Grandchildren Dylan (Karen) Sutton, Joshua (Courtney) Kopsie, Jennifer Kopsie, Jessica Herley and Nicole Herley, and Great Grandchildren Kennedy Anne Kopsie, Cooper Thomas Kopsie, Caden Oliver Kopsie, and Oliver Sutton.
Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her siblings Florence Ruth, Joseph Organista, John Organista, Connie Markoski, Thomas Organista and Patricia Monroe.
Her Memorial Service will be held Sunday, October 12, 2025 at 11:00 AM from Plymouth Meeting Evangelical Congregation Church, 42 East Germantown Pike, Plymouth Meeting, PA.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Plymouth Meeting EC Church, 42 East Germantown Pike, Plymouth Meeting, Pa 19462.
