Ann Theresa Hoffman, of Royersford
Ann Theresa Hoffman, daughter of the late Dominic and Margaret (Sabol) Dellaquila, passed away on March 15, 2026 surrounded by her loving family at the Paoli Hospital. She was the beloved life partner of the late John M. Lafferty and the former wife of the late William S. Hoffman.
Ann graduated from Phoenixville High School in 1952. She dedicated 33 years of service as a paraprofessional in the Owen J. Roberts School District. Ann owned Tot Terrace, a children's gift and clothing store in Royersford. She also co-owned Dell's Pizzeria and Jahl Enterprises, Inc., a taxi service based in Philadelphia, and spent many years waitressing in her family's restaurant.
Ann often said her greatest accomplishment in life was her family. She treasured time spent with loved ones and created many special memories, especially trips to the beach in Brigantine, New Jersey, and Ocean City, Maryland. Her annual girls' trips to Ocean City, New Jersey, were particularly meaningful.
She was a member of Reading Country Club, PSERS, the Teamsters Union, the Senior Center, Senior Circle, and the YMCA. Ann enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and abroad, including visits to Nova Scotia, Bermuda and the Bahamas. One of her most cherished adventures was a trip to Italy with her daughter and granddaughters.
Ann is survived by her loving children: William "Bill" Hoffman (Debbie) and Dore Dabback (Peter), both of East Vincent. She was a devoted grandmother to Lynsey Haslip (Brandon) of East Coventry; Whitney O'Reilly (Brian) of Schuylkill Township; Tiffany Black (David) of East Vincent; and Billy Hoffman (Ashley) of East Vincent. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren: Patience and Paolo O'Reilly; Hartel and Holden Haslip; Abbey and Emily Black; and William (Ryker), Bode, and Paisleigh Hoffman.
She is further survived by her sister, Carolyn Magill (Bill) of Jacksonville, Florida, her sister-in-law, Elaine Dellaquila of Phoenixville, along with many cherished nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Dellaquila of Phoenixville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ann's memory to East Vincent United Church of Christ where she attended.
A visitation will be held, Wednesday March 25, 2026 at 10:00 AM at East Vincent United Church of Christ, 282 Hill Church Road, Spring City, PA 19475, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place in the church cemetery immediately following the service.
