Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Ann Brantley Johnson, age 99 of Athens, Georgia (South Jackson Community) who entered rest Saturday, September 6, 2025. Mrs. Johnson was born in Macon, Georgia a daughter of the late Joseph Daniel Brantley, Sr. and the late Eva Mae Harper Brantley. Mrs. Johnson was a retired Accountant and was member of the Warner Robins Assembly of God. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Johnson is preceded by her husband, Edwin McKinley Johnson, a son, Jack Edwin Johnson, sisters; Mary Inman, Eva McAlister and Beryl Carswell along with brothers; Jack, Danny and Marshal Brantley.

Survivors include a daughter, Janet Edwards and her husband Hubert of Athens. Daughter in law, Jolinda Johnson of Vienna. Two granddaughters, Tammy Johnson Bolin (Richard) of Vienna and Lisa Edwards Walker of Flowery Branch. Three great granddaughters and three great - great grandsons also survive.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, 7070 Houston Road, Macon, Georgia with Pastor Glynn Grantham officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Brantley Johnson to Calvary Baptist Church, Missions Program or Reformers Unanimous Program, 1975 Highway 82, Statham, Georgia 30666.
