Ann Kennon (Symons), age 77, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025, in Cameron, Missouri. Born on June 8, 1948, in Perryton, Texas, Ann lived a life marked by creativity, resilience, and deep love for her family and faith.
Ann was the daughter of Rod and Opal Symons. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, her sister Linda Lange, nephew Christopher Tad Symons, and her husband Lawrence James Kennon, Jr., whose memory she cherished throughout her life.
Ann leaves behind a legacy of love through her children and their families. Her daughter Lesha Ann Delgado and husband Lorenzo of New Mexico carry forward her spirit along with her daughter Jamie Ervin. Her son Jon Allen Boone and wife Deborah of Coatesville, Pennsylvania continue her legacy through their children Michael J Murphy, Hannah, Caitlin, and Jon Jr. Her daughter Ande Salinas and James Paulk II of Amarillo, Texas honor her memory with their children Dani and Tabitha, Raymond, Triston, Ashley, James III, and Robert; as well as grandchildren Taleney, Ezra, Avery, Jesse, and Zander. Her daughter Theresa Glassey and husband Keith of Franklin, Ohio remember her lovingly with their children Dalton, Breann, Chloe, Caleb, and Aliyah. Ann also embraced her stepdaughter Christy Chapman and husband Shane of Lubbock, Texas as family; they carry on her memory with their sons Hunter and Matt.
Ann is also survived by her brother Rodney Symons and his wife Dawn of Peachtree City, Georgia, Rodney Symons II, his wife Elizabeth of Austin, TX, and two nephews Matthew and Andrew Symons.
A woman of many talents and passions, Ann found joy in artistic expression-especially painting and ceramics-where she poured out her creativity with vibrant color and imagination. She had a playful spirit that came alive during games of all kinds; whether gathered around a board game or sharing laughter over cards with loved ones. Family gatherings were among her greatest joys-occasions where stories were shared freely and love flowed abundantly.
Ann's adventurous nature led her to embrace life's challenges with resourcefulness and humor. She was known for meeting each day with courage and grace. Her faith was central to who she was-a devoted Christian who loved Jesus deeply. That love radiated through every act of kindness she extended to others.
Ann Kennon's life was a beautiful tapestry woven from threads of creativity, devotion to family, unwavering faith, and an indomitable spirit. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her and continue to inspire all whose lives she touched.
