Ann and Mike were the most committed, ethical, eyes on the prize people I ever met. Even in their older age, they continued working on their life's goals of peace and justice, family and religion, ethnicity and community.... They are a model for living; a model for couples; a model for dedication, faithfulness, and work.
Peace to the Kerwin's and all their friends, all who ever met them, their children, and especially their grand children who are probably in tears for missing first Grandpa Mike, and now Grandma Ann.
But I feel nothing but gratitude for having met them and worked with them, and got to know them.
And peace to all of us who shall fallow, stepping sometimes in their righteous footsteps, but usually not quite...
