Ann LeBlanc Obituary

Ann McInnis LeBlanc, originally of Baton Rouge and more recently of Greenville, SC, died on August 22, 2004 at the home, attended by her husband of 50 years, Louis C. LeBlanc. She is also survived by daughter Karen Rossi; son, David Turner; stepson Christian LeBlanc, stepdaughters Nicole LeBlanc and Gabrielle McGrath; eleven grandchildren and stepgrandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one of her four sisters, Patricia McInnis Graham of Sammamish, WA. Mrs. LeBlanc was an honors graduate of Istrouma High School, LSU, and Clemson University, and taught English in Louisiana and South Carolina for many years. She loved her work and her students. Ann enjoyed retirement as well, spending happy times with her husband, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, especially Riley and Lily. She liked to garden and cook, lunch with friends, and work crossword puzzles, at which she was expert. Reading was her lifelong close companion. Ann will be dearly missed by many. At her request, she has been cremated. A private memorial service will be held at a later date at the home. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity in memory of Ann.
