Ann Leehan

Ann P. (Wheeler) Leehan, 68, of Marlborough, MA, died Saturday, April 15, 2006 at Leonard Morse Hospital following a long illness.

Born in Waltham MA, she was the daughter of the late John and Dora (Dufresne) Wheeler and the wife of John J. Leehan, Jr., of Marlborough, to whom she had been married for the past 46 years.

A 1955 graduate of St. Mary’s High School, Waltham, Mrs. Leehan attended the Chandler School of Business, in Boston, MA.

She was employed as a teller for St. Mary’s Credit Union, Marlborough, until her retirement in 1995.

She was a member of the former St. Mary’s Parish, Marlborough, where she had been active in Our Lady of the Assumption Guild, and in the parish choir.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughters; Janice MacMunn and her husband Joe, of Hudson, Diane Bleiler and her husband Steve, of Watertown, Annmarie Leehan, of Maynard, and Karen Cafarella and her husband Jim, of Pensacola, FL, her grandchildren; Kathleen and Rachel MacMunn, Meghan Tuttle, and Evan and Daniel Cafarella. She is also survived by her brothers; John Wheeler of Franklin, and Gerald Wheeler of Waltham, and her sister; Elaine Rich, of Millis.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 21, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Matthias Church, Hemenway St., Marlborough, MA. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Beach St., Marlborough, MA.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2006, from 4-8 in the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough, MA.
