O'BRIEN, Ann D. (Canny) Age 88, of Tewksbury, passed away peacefully, on November 24, 2025. Ann was the beloved wife of the late Gerald "Jeff" O'Brien; cherished daughter of the late Denis and Mary (Friel) Canny; special "mom" of Mariann O'Brien of Tewksbury, Nancy Wheeler of Wellesley, and Patricia DeFeo and husband, Richard, of Walkertown, NC; dear sister of Frances Maher of Woburn, Elizabeth Canny of Medford, and the late Margaret Ledford, Cecelia Sullivan, Mary Falvey, and Catherine Gubbins. Loving "Grammy" of Stephanie Hunter and husband, Terrance, Kyle DeFeo and wife, Allison, Ryan DeFeo; and great-grandchildren, Jordan and Kobe Hunter. Ann is also survived by her cousin, Margaret Friel, of Malden; as well as many nieces and nephews.
