Ann Jackson Pittman, 79, of Bladenboro passed on November 5, 2022 at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Sally Mae Jackson; husband, Coy "Pig" Deaver; daughter, Linda Sue Deaver; brothers: Lacy, Donald, R.D. and Paul Jackson.
Ann leaves behind her husband, June Pittman of the home; son, Jacky Deaver and wife Norma Jean of Bladenboro; two daughters: Betty Deaver Long and husband Murrie of Bladenboro, Jo Ann Deaver of the home; three sisters: Patsy Hester and Brenda Burney, both of Bladenboro and Joyce Wheeler of Plymouth; five grandchildren: Trudy Lynn Bordeaux (Billy), Jessica Taylor (J.T.), Jennie Godwin (Kenny), Kelly Jean Deaver (Aaron), Travis Deaver (Erin); seven great-grandchildren: Alysa (Matt), Alaina, Chase, Jace, Ada, Garrett, Joel and her special caregiver, Cherie.
Ann cared for her family deeply and enjoyed cooking big meals for them. She loved traveling to the beach and mountains, going to thrift stores on Saturdays, fishing and playing solitaire. Her kindness, generosity, and friendship will be missed by many.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Wednesday, November 9th at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
