Ann Shatzer Obituary

Ann L. Shatzer, 97, of Carlisle, died Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Thornwald Home.
Born in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Mohler) Burkholder and the wife of the late J. Grant Shatzer, Jr., who passed away in 2006.
Ann worked as an Executive Secretary to the President at Dickinson College for over 45 years.
She was also a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Carlisle.
Ann is survived by her daughter: Linda Miller Shatzer; her granddaughter: Corrine Miller; her great granddaughter: Zoe as well as her brother: Richard M. Burkholder, his wife, Nancy.
She was preceded in death by her siblings: Jack and Mary Catherine.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service 11:00 am Saturday, March 29, 2025 at First United Church of Christ, 30 N. Pitt Street, Carlisle, where Rev. Bob Bistline and Rev. Fa Lane will be officiating. The family will greet guests after 10:00 am prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle.
