Ann Courtney Thomas

Ann Courtney Thomas, age 30, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 23, 2025 surrounded by her loving family after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

She was born on January 10, 1995 in Lebanon, Kentucky to John and Ann Carol Thompson. Ann Courtney worked at Joe Hills Powersports and Equipment in Bardstown for 8 years. She lived her life with a song in her heart, she enjoyed playing her guitar, and loved everything from Taylor Swift, to any tune that made her feel alive. Her infectious laugh and radiant smile could light up even the heaviest room, and her enormous heart made her a natural giver, always offering kindness without hesitation. She felt most at home by the beach or the lake, loved camping, and was always ready for a spontaneous road trip. She rarely met a stranger and had a beautiful gift for making everyone around her feel included and cared for. Above all, she cherished being a mom to her son J.C., pouring every bit of love she had into her family. She will be remembered for the warmth she gave, the music she loved, and the joy she brought into the world.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Robert and Lucy Marie Craig; paternal grandfather, Conrad Thompson; brother, John Craig Thompson; brother-in-law, Cameron Thomas.

Survivors include her loving husband of 7 years, Caleb Thomas; son, Jeffrey Craig "J.C." Thomas; parents, John and Ann Carol Thompson; two sisters, Ashley Knopp (Adam) and Brittany Myers (Scott); paternal grandmother, Arlene Thompson; father and mother-in-law, Jeff and Christy Thomas; brother-in-law, Jack Thomas (Maggie Wright); nieces and nephews, Will, Grayson, Audrey, Annaleece, Caroline, John Sawyer.

Also surviving are a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and relatives.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 29, 2025 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Friday, November 28, 2025 at Bosley Funeral Home with a prayer service that will be held at 7:00 P.M., officiated by Deacon Joe Dant.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to The Marion County Good Samaritans.

Pallbearers will be Will Knopp, Adam Knopp, Scott Myers, Grayson Myers, Jack Thomas, Aaron Mayes, Justin Newton, and Michael Sandusky.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Loren Haydon, Lindsey Kirkland, Caitlyn Newton, Nikki Sandusky, Madeline Hood, Brooke Mcllvoy, Andrea Edlin, Paige Lawson, Johannah Leake, and Lindsey Pittman.
