Ann Marie Tober

Ann Marie Tober, age 83, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025. Beloved wife of John "Jack" for 61 wonderful years. Loving mother of Carolyn (the late Daniel) Schmidt, Julie (Leonard) Gutmann and Jacqueline (Daniel) Frei. Cherished grandmother of John (Amanda), Stephen, Michael (Jenna), Grace, Alexis, Samantha and Madeline, and proud great-grandmother of Elsie. Dear sister of Eileen (Larry) Perkins, Mary Joan Schihl and Sharon (the late Tony) Paladino. She is also loved and missed by her many nieces and nephews.

Ann Marie dedicated her career to caring for others as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She found great joy in reading and music, especially in singing with her church choir. Above all, Ann Marie treasured her family-she was a devoted wife, a wonderful mother, and a proud grandmother and great-grandmother, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. Her warmth, compassion, and love will forever be remembered by those who were blessed to know her.

Visitation for Ann Marie will take place on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary, at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 Fifteen Mile Road, Sterling Heights. She will lie in state on Wednesday, October 8 at 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church, 95 Market Street, Mt. Clemens. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Roseville.

Ann Marie's life was one of faith, love, and service-a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
