Ann B. Unsworth (Murphy), 73, of Cranston, died Wednesday, March 18th at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of Michael F. Unsworth.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late William P. and Mary T. (Mullins) Murphy, she had been a Cranston resident for the past forty-one years. Ann worked for the Diocese of Providence for 35 years in the Finance Office and the Catholic Charity Fund Appeal Office.

Besides her husband, she leaves her son, Michael J. Unsworth of Cranston. She was the sister of Noreen M. Tracey (Patrick) of Warwick, Mary Jo Murphy of Cranston, James C. Murphy of Uxbridge, MA, Veronica M. Murphy of Warwick, and the late Michael P. Murphy (Marian).

Her funeral will be Saturday, March 21st, at 10 AM from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Mark Church, 31 Poplar Drive, Cranston, at 11 AM. Calling hours at 9 AM, 1 hour prior to the funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the Diocese of Providence Catholic Charity Appeal www.dioceseofprovidence.org One Cathedral Square, Providence, RI 02903 will be appreciated. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. www.barrettandcotter.com
