Ann Watson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Usrey Brown Funeral Service on Dec. 10, 2025.
Ann "Boots" Watson, 88, of Talladega, AL went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 08, 2025, surrounded by her adoring family. A funeral ceremony will be held in her honor at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega with Charles Stone officiating. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow directly after the ceremony at Pine Hill Memorial Park.

Mrs. Watson was born in Covington, Tennessee on December 18, 1936, to Bud and Jessie Eubanks. She lived most of her life in Talladega where she was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She worked at Wehadkee Yarn Mills before retiring from Georgia Pacific.

She loved cooking and entertaining friends and family. She also enjoyed reading the Bible and never missed an opportunity to share her love for the Lord with anyone who would listen. She never met a stranger and always left an impression on anyone who knew her. Mrs. Watson loved her family deeply and was an avid prayer warrior. Affectionately known as "Nana", she was a one-of-a-kind woman whose death will leave an unfillable void in all her family members' lives.

Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jimmy Watson; daughter, Margaret Ann Watson; parents, Bud and Jessie Eubanks; brothers, Jim Eubanks and Charles Eubanks, and sisters, Juno Winberry, Mary Burlison, Sue Hurst, Dorothy Massengill, and Rachel Tinkler.

She is survived by her daughter, JoAnn Bearden (Joe); sons, David Watson (Lori) and Randy Watson (Misty); brother, George Eubanks (Barbara); grandchildren, Hope Allen (Keith), Nicholas Freeman, Rachel Schwarz (Ryan), Hailey Watson, Michael Watson, and Adam Watson (Meagan); step-grandchildren, Carson Comer and Anna Rose Comer; great-grandchildren, JR, Tyler, Emily, Viviana, Aiden, Audrey, Owen, and Olive; special nephews, Lesli Eubanks and Norman Eubanks; caretaker, Kenny Williams, and countless nieces and nephews.

Mo Eubanks, Stud Eubanks, Darrell Burlison, Sam Waters, Stan Burlison, and Steve Yancy will serve as pallbearers.

JR Allen, Tyler Allen, Adam Watson, Michael Watson, Keith Allen, and Joe Ruder will serve as honorary pallbearers.
