Ann Marie Akers White

Ann Marie Akers White, 55, of Randleman, died Sunday, November 23, 2025 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem.

Memorial Services, 3 PM, Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur.

Officiating, Mr. Sam Harvell.

Ann was a native and lifelong resident of Randolph County. She was a licensed cosmetologist and was the owner of Studio A Hair Studio in Asheboro. Ann always saw the beauty in life regardless of any obstacles that she may have had to overcome. To know her was to love her. To feel her love was unmatched. Ann always made sure that everyone she loved knew just how much she loved them. She taught that strength didn't always have to be loud, showing kindness wasn't weakness. Ann believed that forgiveness and love were the most powerful forces in the universe.

She loved her family fiercely; especially her children, grandchildren, dog Cookie and her loving husband Harold. She was an amazing daughter to her beloved late mother Lois, mother, wife and friend to all who knew her. She enjoyed gardening, the beach, softball, music, the Duke Blue Devils, riding her bike and/or motorcycles and especially her soap operas. She always had a smile on her face even in the toughest times. She will be remembered as a selfless, caring and kind woman. As she would say to those she held closest: "I love you more".

Ann was preceded in death by her mother, Lois Beane, and her brother, Hersey Stevens.

Survivors: husband, Harold White, of the home, daughter, Hailey Mason and partner, Alex of Fredericksburg, VA, sons, Bryce Mason, and Hunter White, father, Paul Akers, of Siler City, grandchildren, Ryly Mason, Skyland Mason, Logan Embrey, and Phoenix Mason.

Visitation, 1 PM to 2:45 PM, Saturday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur.
