Ann White Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Unity Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC - Moss Point on Jan. 22, 2026.
Princess Ann White was born on February 01, 1958, in Philadelphia, Mississippi, to Annie Ruth Brantley-Lewis and the late Elijah Lewis. She was the second eldest of four children and was surrounded by the love of her family.

LOVING: Ann was united in holy matrimony to Sherman White of Moss Point, Mississippi, and from this union, two children were born, Marcus B. White and the late Bradley Sherman White. She embraced her roles as wife and mother with grace, placing family at the heart of all she did.

FAITHFUL: At an early age, Princess Ann accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and devoted her life to His service. From her early years singing in the choir at Asbury to her faithful work with Women's Home & Overseas Missionary Society, her commitment was evident. Though declining health hindered her ability to serve as before, her faith and love for the church endured.

DEVOTED: Ann dedicated many years of service to Chevron U.S.A., where she served as Operations Assistant and Management Assistant to the Refinery General Manager. Her devotion to her work was evident in professionalism and attention to detail. Equally important to Ann was her family. She was a devoted sister and a loving aunt, remaining closely connected to her nieces, nephews, and cousins, whom she cherished dearly.

Princess Ann White was joyfully welcomed into eternal rest by those who preceded her in death: Her dearly beloved son, Bradley Sherman White; her beloved bonus father, Johnnie Brazzle; Stepdad Willie "Pap" Garry, her maternal grandparents, J.C. and Burnettie Brantley, Mother-in-law, Lillie B. White; and her grandmother-in-law, Myrtis Enoch. She was also reunited with her cherished Aunts, Helen Gage, Catherine Smith, Eunice Carter, and Bonnie E. Brantley; her uncles, Lawrence Brantley and Willie J. Brantley; along with many dearly beloved cousins.

Those Left to Cherish Her Loving Memory

Princess Ann White leaves to cherish her loving memory her devoted husband, Sherman White, of Moss Point, Mississippi; her devoted son, Marcus Brandon White, of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; a loving mother Annie Ruth Lewis-Garry, Pascagoula, MS., three sisters, Edna (Woodie) Lott, of Gautier, Mississippi; Beatrice Lewis, of Pascagoula, Mississippi; and Rose Thomas (Don) McCreary, of Pascagoula, Mississippi; Glenda White of Moss Point, MS; Anthony (Robin) White, of Hinesville, GA; Billy (Antonette) White, Gulfport, MS; Ken (Betty) White, of Moss Point, MS; a God son Micheal (Clara) White, Indianola, MS., and a God Daughter, Dani Stallworth Escatawpa, MS.

She is also lovingly remembered by a very dear and devoted friend, Rosolyn (Dennis) Durden, of Atlanta, Georgia; A special Cousin, Mary Nell Green, of Moss Point, Mississippi; along with extended family members, Julia Jones and family, of Jackson, Mississippi; Rose Sontoya; and Aletha Smith and family, of Pascagoula, Mississippi.
