Anna D Amalfitano

Our beloved, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Anna D. Amalfitano, 92, of Johnston, formerly of Providence, passed away peacefully at Chery Hill Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. She was a cherished daughter of the late Constantino and Vincenza (Parrillo) Nardolillo. Widow to the late Benjamin Amalfitano with whom she spent many years and raised a beautiful family together before he passed. Anna is survived by her two children, Richard Amalfitano and his spouse Karyn, of Las Vegas Nevada, Ann Marie Henry and her spouse Richard and her devoted granddaughter, Erica Henry all of Cranston. She also leaves her brothers, Irving and Val Nardolillo along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Anna was predeceased by her son Robert and her siblings, Constantino Jr., John, Anthony, Francis, Nicholas and Joseph Nardolillo. Her Sisters Carmella McLean, Pauline McLean and Elena Nardolillo and Thea Neri.
A feisty personality with a quick wit and great sense of humor. Anna was a dedicated homemaker for many years; she was an example of love and strength for her family. She had a beautiful smile and a big heart to match. She loved going to the casino and playing a little Poker or Slots even a bit of Gin Rummy with friends. While Anna was for the most part a dedicated mother, she did work before retiring completely, she held jobs at What Cheer Laundry, Faith's Kitchen and a few other local businesses. She was known as the Queen of Cherry Hill Nursing Home due to her quick wit and outgoing personality. She enjoyed Bingo, she also liked the beach in her younger days. She stayed busy with her word searches and slots on her iPad. She was also a great cook, especially her delicious Pasta e Fagiole
Services for Anna to which family and friends are respectfully invited will be held in the Berarducci Funeral Home Friday, May 30th, at 9:30 am. Burial will be in St Ann's Cemetery and will be private.
