It was an honor to know Aunt Ann. She seemed to be content in every circumstance of her long, long life. She needed very little to be content and, even when she had very little, she tried to give away what she had. Aunt Ann had a lovely smile which broke out frequently every time I visited her, even when she was not feeling well. She never complained about her circumstances, her lack of things or comforts, the food she was given (except she insisted on 2 boiled eggs for breakfast every morning!). She was happy for every visit and contact. She was well loved by her family and by the staff at the nursing home. A beautiful person inside and outside for over 100 years!

I remember visiting Aunt Ann and Uncle "Si" many times as a kid. She always provided some food and candy with a kind word. She'd provide refreshments when my dad, Lou, my brother, Ron, and I would go to her home to play horseshoes with Uncle Si. Very good memories.
