Anna M. Brammall, 95, passed away at home with family by her side on Sunday, June 8, 2025. She was born on December 12, 1929, in Nenzing, Austria, to the late Josef and Gertrude Weishaupt.
Anna's life was a beautiful journey that began in the Austrian Alps and brought her across the world. While working at a U.S. Army camp in Saalfelden, Austria, she met the love of her life, Harold "Marty" Brammall. They married and, in 1954, she came to the United States to begin a new chapter with him. Together they built a life filled with love, faith, and family. Their bond lasted 47 wonderful years until Martin's passing in 2001.
One of Anna and Marty's greatest joys was their log cabin in Vermont-a place they lovingly built with plans to retire together. Though their time there as a couple was cut short by Marty's passing, Anna continued to visit the cabin with her family where countless beautiful memories made with those she loved most.
Anna's greatest joy in life was her family. She is survived by her two loving daughters, Heidi Janton and Linda Austin and her husband Willie Austin. She was the proud grandmother of Jonathan Janton and his wife Lauren, and Christopher Janton. Her love extended deeply to her great-grandchildren: Juliana, Annabelle, Gabriela, Logan, and Christopher Janton, Jr. Her warmth, strength, and unwavering love will be remembered always by those who were blessed to know her.
Relatives and friends may gather near the parking lot inside the main gates of the RI Veterans Cemetery, 301 South County Road, Exeter, on Friday, June 13 at 9:45 a.m. A committal service will take pace at 10:00 a.m. sharp in the main chapel.
Donations in her memory made to Homeward Bound, 236 Broadman Street, Middlebury, VT 05753 or online at https://www.homewardboundanimals.org/.
