Anna Brown, 80, of Washington, Indiana passed away November 8, 2025. She was born in McCarthur, Ohio on April 26, 1945, to the late Asbury and Lexie Bentley. She married the love of her life William Brown. Anna loved children and worked for many years with her father at their Foster Care business. Anna loved all living creatures, especially her farming animals. She was known for her kindness and love for her family. When she wasn't taking care of them, she enjoyed reading her bible, cooking, and watching westerns. She will be deeply missed.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents Asbury and Lexie Bentley; husband William Brown; sons Mark Stroud and Raymond Stroud; siblings Richard, Ronald, Bob, Tom Bentley and Sandy Bennet.
She is survived by her children Tina Stroud, Theresa (Rodney) Rodgers, Brian Brown; grandchildren Jason (Izabel) Hubbard, James (Missy) Hubbard, Aaron Stroud, Jeffrey Rich, Mark Stroud Jr., Billy Stroud, Cierra Roland, Amy Stroud, Ashley Stroud, Breanna Stroud, Raymond Stroud Jr., Natasha Wegrzyn, Anna Stroud; and several great- grandchildren.
Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Brown. Visitation will be held November 13, 2025, from 11 am to 2 pm at 2020 State Street. The service will begin promptly at 2 pm.
